About BarcodeBench

BarcodeBench is a free browser-based toolkit for creating practical business labels and warehouse layout documents. It started as a clean barcode and Data Matrix generator, and now includes a warehouse floor planner for mapping aisles, shelf sections, end caps, and brand locations.

Barcode and Data Matrix labels

Create printable SVG labels for Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, UPC-A, ITF-14, and Data Matrix ECC200. Add custom top text, tune sizing and quiet zones, export JPG previews, and batch-generate SVG files from CSV.

Warehouse floor planning

Import brand, aisle, and section data from CSV, place shelves and warehouse zones, resize aisles visually, label shelf sides and end caps, then print a clean floor plan with a location directory.

Built for simple, useful workflows

BarcodeBench is designed for quick operational tasks: making a batch of product or inventory labels, creating a one-off scannable code, or building a warehouse reference map that can be printed and shared with a team.

What you can do with BarcodeBench

Privacy-first by design

The barcode generator and warehouse planner run in your browser. The site does not require a login, and your barcode values or warehouse location data are not stored in a server database. The warehouse planner saves work locally in your browser unless you choose to export a JSON or CSV file.

Why SVG and printable layouts?

SVG barcodes stay sharp at any size, which makes them useful for labels, product mockups, inventory tags, and print workflows. The warehouse planner uses clean line drawings so printed maps stay readable and do not waste ink.
